Dr. Hassan Chamsi-Pasha FRCP, FACC is a Consultant Cardiologist at European Medical Center, Jeddah.
Formerly, consultant cardiologist at King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital. He is the author of 75 books on
different health, Prophet Medicine, and ethical issues, and 120 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
He is coauthoring “Contemporary Bioethics: Islamic Perspective” published by Springer. He was a member
of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Heart Association (1995-2005). He is currently a member of the
Editorial Board of several medical journals. He has been a counselor at The International Islamic Fiqh
Academy since 1992 and is interested in medical ethics.
